North vs South

Siempre he tenido la misma duda sobre esto de las tendencias, quién va antes el norte o el sur? Mi último gran viaje fue a Australia, allí empezaba la primavera y la verdad es que aunque me intenté fijar en las tiendas, no podría decir fijo si van adelantados o nos siguen a los del hemisferio norte, todo tenía un toque diferente.

I always have the same doubt about the trends, who’s first, the north or the south? My last holidays were in Australia, there, the spring was starting and believe me that though I tried to pay attention to the newest garments in the shops, I couldn’t say for sure whether they’re advanced or just follow us, the ones of the north hemisphere, everything had a different touch.

Por lo que se comenta en la blogoesfera, somos los del norte los que mandamos en esto, así que los del sur lo tienen más fácil y a golpe de click a la hora de elegir las tendencias que más han calado a pie de calle y las prendas it de cada temporada, según las van mostrando las bloggers norteñas. Y así evitar lo que a todas alguna vez nos habrá pasado, comprarnos la que creemos va a ser la prenda estrella de la temporada, pero que luego no nos atrevemos a ponernos y acaba en el fondo más fondo del armario.

According to what is commented in the blogosphere, we, the Northeners are the leaders in this field, so the Southerners have it easier, just clicking when choosing the most followed trends on the street and the it garments of every season, as they are shown by the northern bloggers. This way they can avoid what it has ever happened to all of us, buying a what we think it’ll become the star garment of the season, but later we won’t dare to wear it and it ended in the very back part of your wardrobe.
