Siempre he pensado que las chicas que llevan el pelo muy corto, à lo garçon, en clave fashion, tienen una fuerte personalidad. No es nada fácil atreverse a dar ese paso, sobre todo cuando sobre pasarela y en la calle, las melenas mandan. Antiguamente se asociaba con la masculinidad, pero para mi es más bien todo lo contrario, no hay más femme fatale que una mujer con pelo corto y vestida ultra femenina.

I've always thought that girls with à lo garçon haircut should have a strong personality. It's not easy to decide for this cut, specially when what we see in runways and streets are on the contrary proud long hair women. In the past it was associated to the masculinity, but as for me it's just the opposite, there's no more femme fatale than a short hair woman wearing ultra feminine clothes.

1. cuellos altos y con volúmen en contraste con el volumen de la cabeza.

1. turtle and voluminous neck, in contrast with the head volume.

2. collares grandes, ideales con un cuello largo y delgado

2. XXL necklaces, perfect for long and thin necks

3. maxi gafas, igualmente volvemos a jugar con los volúmenes

3. maxi glasses, to play again with the volumes

4. ropa ultrafemenina: faldas lápiz, tacones, escotes en V...

4. ultra feminine clothes: pencil skirts, high heels, V-necks...

I'm a BOB girl

Dicen que cuando no nos atrevemos a hacer un cambio en nuestra vida, nos cortamos el pelo. Yo no sé si por este dogma o porque me he aburrido del pelo largo, me he cortado el pelo a lo Bob. Ni corta ni perezosa me fui a mi peluquera con una foto de Olivia Palermo, seguramente el corte menos arriesgado de todos los que se pueden llamar Bob, pero es que me tienen enamorada esos rizos por encima del hombro.

It is said that when someone doesn't dare to make a change in his life, he ends to change his hairstyle. I don't know if following this premise or just because I've turned tired of the long hair, I got my hair Bobstyle cut. As bold as you like, I went to my Hairdresser with a picture of Olivia Palermo. I know this is not the bravest Bob cut, but I'm in love with these over-the-shoulder perfect curls.

Todos nos acordamos de ese corte perfecto y envidado por todas de Rachel en Friends. Creo que parte del éxito de Jennifer Aniston en la serie fue su pelo!

Otra de las que apostaron muy fuerte por este tipo de melena corta fue Victoria Beckham, con su archicopiado corte, a mí la verdad es que no me gusta mucho el conjunto: cara alargada + corte alargado y asimétrico...

Me gusta mucho el corte con flequillo, que yo cambiaría de nombre al corte "Anna Wintour". Le sienta genial a las de rostro rendondito. Pero también me gusta cómo le lleva, a su estilo, Alexa, aunque ya no sé si esto se consideraría Bob...

I like much the fringed Bob, that I would call "Anna Wintour cut". This is very flattering for rounded faces. I also like Alexa's style, though I don't know if this can be called Bob too...

Pero si hay un estilo que me chifla, es el bob grunge. Quizá porque mi pelo es un poco grunge él (rizado y con personalidad propia) es con el que más me identifico. No me diréis que no es favorecedor como lo lleva Scarlett, Diane Krugger, Liv Tayler o la mismísima Nicole Richie.

But if there's a style I really love, this is the grunge bog. Maybe because my hair is a bit grunge too (curly and with own personality!), but this is the one I identify most with. Don't you find so flattering the one Scarlett, Diane Krugger, Liv Tayler or Nicole Richie wear?
