my bloggers' POST I

Retomando un poco la idea de este blog, el de hablar sobre otras bloggers, se me ha ocurrido la idea de dedicar un post semanal a los mejores looks de mis seguidores, y comentar entre todos cuál nos gusta más. Podríamos llamarlo inspiración casera. Como todavía no sois demasiados los seguidores (a ver si os animáis esos lectores anónimos!) creo que en poco más de un mes podéis salir todas!

Picking up the original idea of this blog, talking about other bloggers, it comes into my head the idea of dedicating a weekly post to the best outfits of my followers, and then comment together which ones we like and why. We could call it “home-made inspiration”. As there are not too many followers yet (anonymous readers come and follow!) I think you all can appear in a bit more than a month!

De esto modo os voy presentando bloggers que igual no conocéis y por supuesto, sois bienvenidos los que queráis aparecer en siguientes semanas. No se trata de juzgar ni evaluar, simplemente de elegir el outfit que más me ha gustado de la semana y compartirlo con vosotros. Y claro está, si alguno no queréis salir, sólo tenéis que decírmelo!

This way I can introduce you bloggers that you may not know and of course, who wants to appear in the coming weeks you’re very welcome. It isn’t about judging or evaluating you, it’s just about choosing the outfit I liked most and share it with you. Obviously, I don’t need to mention that if any of you don’t want to be published, just have to tell me!

ü  Très mode: por su look años 70, su blusa romántica y su clutch con tachuelas.
    because of her 70's look, romantic blouse and studded clutch.

 ü  Laetitia’s comptoir: porque sólo ella puede combinar a la perfección una chaqueta de tweed y botas biker.  because only she is able to combine succesfully a tweed jacket with biker boots.

ü  The Fashion through my eyes: siempre geniales fotos, me encantan sus bailarinas  rojas atadas a los tobillos por encima del pantalón.

ü  Bonny Ann: por esa forma de atarse el cinturón, las medias blancas y el jersey de pompones.

ü  Mademoiselle Economist: por su combinación camiseta y abrigo de pelo y esos jeggins capri. because of her combination tee+fur coat and these capri jeggings.

ü  Aspirante a Miss Divina: por su look barroco combinado con jeans y camisa blanca.
    because of her baroque style with jeans and white  shirt.

ü  Pulcinellata: por ese par de espectaculares y originales zuecos de lulu vibes.
    because of such a original and amazing clogs of lulu vibes.

be TRENDY my friend

Un pajarito me ha adelantado las 3 claves que marcarán las tendencias para el próximo otoño invierno. Sé que todavía no hemos empezado la primavera, y yo en este blog tampoco he comentado nada sobre must haves para la nueva temporada, pero es que no podía esperar a contáoslo. He de reconocer que me ha impactado y sobre todo me cuesta creer (como siempre nos pasa) que vayamos a seguir estas tendencias tan arriesgadas... habrá que esperar a ver cómo las grandes marcas plasman esos conceptos en la tela, y cómo nuestras tiendas low cost las hacen comerciales. Tiempo al Tiempo.

A bird has advanced me which will be the 3 key trends for the next fall winter. I know Spring hasn't arrived yet and even I haven't written about the must haves of the coming season, but I just can't wait to tell you. I have to admit that I was a bit shocked and couldn't believe (as usual) that we will all be following these risky trends...let's wait to see how the big maisons adapt these concepts and how the low cost shops make them real and commercial. Time will tell.

En cuanto a colores, la definición será: sustancial, real y natural. Es decir, colores pasteles, tonos empolvados, colores cálidos y terrosos, azul índigo, rojos oscuros, grises neutros y azules "soleados".

Regarding the colors, the definition will be: substantial, real and natural. That is, pastel colors, powdered tones, warm and earthy colors, indigo blue, dark reds, neutral greys and "sunny" blues.

Los 3 temas de la temporada serán:

The three main topics will be:

- FAUX REAL: se trata de buscar lo difícil e inesperado, intentar que lo real parezca falso (¿¿??), a través de colores químicos, brillantes, acolchados e imitaciones de plástico. Las prendas claves serán  los plumas, vestidos largos, toques deportivos, capas, faldas tulipan, accesorios de trekking sofisticados como botines, joyas de oro falso.

FAUX REAL: the idea is to look for the difficult and the unexpectd, trying that the real looks like fake (¿¿??), using chemical and shining colors, quilted and plastic look like. The key garments will be the quilted feather coats, long dresses, sporty touches, capes, tulip skirts,  sophisticade trekking accessories like booties, faux gold jewelery.

- 360º: se buscan las formas futuristas mezcladas con las tradiciones más antiguas, se trata de buscar una óptica de formas redondas con drapeados, relieves y largos con movimiento. Estampados aztecas pixelados, cortes asimétricos y tejidos folk. La silueta es la de vagabundo, con muchas capas irregulares. Vuelve el pelo, el borreguito, el punto grueso y las capas. Las faldas plisadas o drapeadas al estilo griego.

360º: looking for futurist forms mixed with ancient traditions, trying to get a round look with draped textures, relieves and lengths with movement. Pixel Aztec prints, asimetric cuts and folk textures. Home-less figure, with many irregular layers. It comes the fur, sheep fur, thick knits and capes. The skirts either draped (greek style) or pleated.

- YOUR SPACE: la idea es despejar y organizar. Looks de uniforme, de etiqueta de sastre. Mezcla de minimalismo con toques militares. Prendas funcionales con muchos bolsillos y departamentos. Cinturones con doble hebilla, de nuevo las capas son la estrella del invierno. Trajes de chaqueta con cortes perfectos. Faldas lápiz por debajo de la rodilla. Cinturas altas, maxi vestidos y el pantalon de pata ancha.

YOUR SPACE: the idea is to clear and tidy up. Uniform outfits, tailor cuts. Mix of minimalism and military touches. Functional garments with many pockets. Double buckle belts, and again the capes are the star of the season. Tailor suits with perfect cuts. Pencil skirts, midi long. High waists, maxi dresses and wide leg pants.

more than a working GIRL

La verdad es que últimamente sólo se me ocurren posts relaciones con el trabajo, será que tantas jornadas de visitas y reuniones dan para más inspiración de la que pienso! Normalmente no vemos muchos outfits de las egobloggers cuando van a trabajar o a clase, o bien que su trabajo les permite ir con Uggs, leggings de cuero o maxi jerseys de punto. Así que muchas veces cuando veo revistas, escaparates y street stylers busco ideas para vestirme al día siguiente para ir a trabajar, porque al final me tengo que vestir 5 días así y sólo 2 para otras cosas…

I know lately I am writing only about work related matters, may be so many visits, business trips and meetings are inspiring me more than I think! It is true that it is not very common to find daily outfits of bloggers going to the office or the university, or perhaps their jobs allow them to wear Uggs, leather pants or maxi sweaters. So, I usually look for any inspiration for the next working day when looking a magazine, shop windows or street style blogs. In the end, I have to dress five days to go to the office, and only two days to do other things…

Esta es una pequeña selección de outfits posibles para oficina, universidad, viajes de trabajo… espero que os sea también útil a muchas de vosotras.

This is a small selection of possible working, university, business trips outfits…I hope it is also useful for many of you.

TRAJE: siempre que pensamos en el estilo working girl, pensamos en traje. Yo prefiero combinar chaquetas con otros pantalones o faldas, para que no parezca demasiado “elaborado”.
SUIT: every time we think about working girls, we are thinking about suits. I prefer to combine jackets with other trousers or skirts, to avoid a very elaborated look.

FALDA: no es nueva mi pasión por las faldas, intento llevar 2-3 días a la semana falda, me siento más cómoda y creo que me favorece más.

SKIRTS: it is not new my passion for skirts, you know, so I try to wear at least 2-3 days per week, I feel more comfortable and flattered.

JEANS: por qué no? si no tiene un código muy estricto de vestimenta, unos buenos jeans con camisa y blazer es una apuesta segura, cómoda y más relajada.

JEANS: why not? Except for very strict dressing code companies, a good jeans with a shirt and blazer is a safe, easy and comfortable bet.

VESTIDO: aquí hay que tener más cuidado con lo que elegimos, que no marque mucho, que sea cómodo, con poco escote y preferiblemente en colores discretos, la blazer o el cardigan harán que no parezca una sola pieza.

DRESS: here we have to be more careful with what we choose, not very tight, easy to wear, not very sexy and preferable plain discreet colors, the blazer or cardigan will make that it doesn’t look like one piece.

BOLSO: es quizá lo más fácil, excepto clutchs pequeños, cualquier bolso es aceptable, pero por supuesto los doctor and messenger bag (tipo Alexa) son perfectos para meter todos los papeles necesarios.

BAGS: this is probably the easiest one, except for the small and embellish clutchs, every size is acceptable, but obviously doctor and messenger bags are perfect to carry all the documents and gadgets.

ACCESORIOS: puedes darle un toque informal con un collar largo, unas pulseras con charms, un foulard colorido o un cinturón fino sobre un sencillo cardigan.

ACCESORIES: you can give a casual touch with a long necklace, some charm-bracelets, a colorful foulard or a skinny belt over your cardigan.
